Gotham Club Instructions

We’re excited to be able to send you to the Gotham Club!  Pretty soon, you'll get an email confirming your reservation to Gotham Club.  No need to print anything, but it might be helpful to keep the email until you get there.  Instructions are included in the email but here are a few instructions (with iPhone photos of landmarks) that will hopefully make your day at the park run smoother!!

The Bullpen:

The bullpen entrance to the Club opens about 2 ½ hours before game time.  The Giants have batting practice first so Jake always likes to go right when it opens. You can find the port walk entrance along the water, next to McCovey Cove.  It's the last set of glass doors (or first depending which side you come from) with the Gotham Club logo on them between the Alaska Airlines suite & Triples Alley under these flags that are close to the right field flagpole:

During batting practice, you have a pretty good chance of catching a foul ball so Jake always brings his own glove.  If you’re really lucky, Will Clark will be out there.  He even plays catch with the younger kiddos if it isn’t too crowded.  While he doesn’t seem to mind chatting up adults, he really seems to enjoy giving instruction to the kids and asking them about baseball.

They might have reopened the field walk. Ask the team near the entrance if they open up the field before the game if you’re interested. If not, you can get to the seats by walking across the Gotham Club cat walk and over to the elevator. We’ve found it easiest to take a right at the cable car and walk all the way around. The Club level entrance will be on your left after Doggie Diner and you’ll need to show your ticket again to get up to Club level. It's an escalator that looks like the tube of an Alaska America airplane.

On the Club Level, our seats are just to the left.  Easiest way is to enter the last set of glass doors before the bathrooms.

The Game Room:
Once in awhile, we’ll take first-timers to visit the game room after the 3rd or 4th inning. It has some cool pictures from baseball long ago, free arcade games, a pool table and a couple of bowling lanes. To get to the game room, you need to go up one level to the Suite Level & will need to show your Gotham pass when you walk in.  From our seats, we usually head to the left and go up the flight of stairs that is next to souvenir stand that is adjacent to the Farmers' Market Cart:

Once you're up there (it’s super quiet compared to the Club Level), people are nice and will probably escort you to the Game room.  In case they don't, the entrance to the game room is a door right next to the hanging red Oracle plane and looks like an electrical closet. It's not obvious but door has the small emblem on it

This article has way better pictures than my lame iPhoto pics to give you better a preview of what’s actually in store for you:  http://www.thrillist.com/drink/san-francisco/soma/gotham-club-giants-att-park-secret-sf  Don't feel bad if you need to call me.

Have fun and GO GIANTS!
