Hoping for more, now that he's 4!
Happy Birthday to the baby of our family!
When I wished him happy birthday this morning, he asked me if he was 5 - why? Because his Lightning McQueen birthday party was a couple of weeks ago - we celebrated it before Labor Day weekend - or maybe he was hoping to age a little quicker so he could go to the same school as PJ.
It's hard to ask families to give up a Sunday, a family day, and not include the siblings. So we included tickets in the invitations to make it clear that siblings were invited too.
The kids completed a scavenger hunt to put together their own goodie bag.
Some of the highlights included "licenses" that doubled as bag tags
and Pins (made with care by Auntie Grace) for Pin the Wheel on the Hudson Hornet.
He had a piñata, gave out tasty cookies (made by Lisa Saari) as favors and had a cake where everyone sang to him.
I guess I can't blame him that he thought he was already 4 years old for the past couple of weeks.
