Jake's Trike-a-Thon
Jake's preschool held its biggest (and I'm told only) fundraiser of the year - a trike-a-thon. He decorated his bike with his name plate on the front and names on the back for those of us that had to count laps - it isn't as easy as it sounds when you have to watch four kids that are speeding around a full lap before you can even mark a tally.
You could see the look of anticipation as he puts his helmet on and waited for his turn to tear it up on the track.
All of the kids looked fabulous in their matching, home-made tie-dye shirts. Jake is definitely on the younger side in his class and didn't mind getting the occasional push when he trudged up a slight grade.
After 19 laps (without any breaks), Grandma & Poppy was there to give him high-fives, followed by a yummy, cold glass of lemonade.
