Teddybear Tea Party

The boys never minded playing "tea" with Tori so last year, we took the three of them to this fun local Christmas event.  We learned the first two years we lived in Benicia that the tickets sell out well before the event is advertised.  If you've never been, it's very cute . . .

Aunt Marcy and Tori couldn't come this year, but we were lucky enough to get a couple of newcomers, Uncle Rob and Auntie Heather, to join us.

The table is set with your family name reservation, each spot has a proper menu and they serve crustless sandwiches, scones and cute desserts like petit fours.

They encourage the children to bring teddy bears, but they also have cute and cuddly characters.  But as you know from my Disneyland posts, Jake isn't a fan so he asked them to stay on the other side of the table with Uncle Rob and Grandma because "PJ is afraid of them."

They also take the time to read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and one of our favorite Christmas stories . . .

and pass out jingle bells that Jake still loves to ring - he took it to school for his letter "J" share.

No Christmas party would be complete without a visit from the big guy.

While it's been fun and the boys are good sports, I'm guessing we won't be back at the tea room for this type of thing until Uncle Rob and Auntie Heather give us a reason.  : )
