Let's go, GI-ants!!

The focus on the game wasn't until later . . .

I had to plead with the boys to get their picture.

The teenager was more willing . . . perhaps because she knew she could have fun with it.  We hurried and took all the silly pictures before Dad's employees showed up.  : )

There was lots of food (my stomach hurts thinking about how much food there was), but all 3 kids were most excited by the Hagen Daas ice cream bars and were most annoyed by being photographed while eating them.

Then, there was the face painting

And faces lit up when we met up with our friends, the Stumbo Family (well, at least 4/5 of them - Grayson will get to go when he's bigger).

Jack and PJ donned the same Giants face paint:

And Will has happy to meet Tori for the first time:

I told Kristin that I suspect there will be many blondes in his future.  : )

After "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," the cable car races and everyone was over the excitement of baseball food - we actually focused on the game.  Sweet Kristin (and Jerry for that matter) got to hear "Let's go GI-ants" chanted over and over and over again by both PJ and Jake.  Good thing they have 3 boys and know how to tune out - I'm not sure the young couple next to us were able to because they left in the 8th inning.  The Giants were down 2 runs so PJ and Jerry put on their "rally caps" - you know . . . to change the luck.

And it worked!  The Giants pulled it out, 3-2, in extra innings!!  Now PJ thinks his rally cap and lucky pennies * really * work.  : )  Overall, it was a perfect day for a ballgame.  (Jake didn't even melt down without his nap).  Thanks for a fun day at the ballpark hon!!
