But I was pleasantly surprised!
The children arrived in a room that had the cutest poster with all of their handprints. In case you're wondering - Jake's is in blue just above the "2" in "2010."
They sang "This Little Light of Mine." {Apologies for the quality of the footage - it was the best I could do from where I was without being rude.} It was cute, but I feel bad because the poor pup just wasn't feeling well and therefore, he probably wasn't as into it as he would've been had he been feeling normal.
After the song, he proudly accepted his certificate that read "Look who went to Preschool!"
PJ is always so thoughtful - he asked to wear a shirt that matched Jake's so everyone at Jake's school would know he was the older brother. : )
That mentality always makes me happy!
Jake looked a little forlorn when he was told to say goodbye to Happy Hearts . . .
but he asked me to drive by his new "big boy" school, Noah's Ark. He looks forward to it in the fall (and so do I).

I am so into their aloha shirts. I've been obsessing over them lately but I've only got one - from Old Navy...
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I think we all need to get matching ones for the next family reunion! We'll be Sound of Music and then some!!!
ReplyDeleteI love his forlorn look :), too precious.
Too cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd I had to laugh at PJ wanting to wear a matching shirt so everyone would know they are brothers.
As if there would ever be *any* doubt!! :)
